$5800 OTD is the going rate for 250r's?

It seems that the going rate for a new 250R is $5800 OTD. Has anyone been able to get a brand new one from the dealership for less?

kawi green is pretty popular, and i've had dealers put a price premium on black bikes..

sounds about right...$5800 is like the quoted price at alot of the dealers.

I think I paid around 5900 or something. But generally, 5800 is the ball park figure your looking at for a 250r... and there isn't much room for negotiating.

that sounds about right, I haven't heard anything lower than that. Expect to pay a couple hundred more if you're getting the green colour.

That's what I thought. And after a year people are selling them for what...$5000? $5500? Basically a loss of $800 in the year?

Resale value on these things is great - I sometimes think I should stock up on Ninjas alone, and forget about everything else

You could wait until summer 2010, and the prices should drop.

Heck if you wanted, look for a cheap 2008 at that time.
