The police wanted damage to the motorcycle to further punish the rider, and is working with the tower to do this sort of thing, if you show up and get mad they call the cop he shows up and tells you to move along and this is justice!!!!....

In a situation like this I would have filed a formal complaint, against both the officer and the towing yard, and amassed a rather large mailing list of people in government to be cc'd on it. Let those to whom they report in government work out what actually happened.

That's is a good idea and i will convey it to the rider and see what he wants to do about it. With Fantino in charge i still doubt anything will come of it, 203 is his law and will be fast to defend this sort of thing ....
