R6 owners, How hot does your engine get?

I have a 2004 r6 and haven't seen the temperature high up at 110C yet. The fan usually kicks in above 100 or so and cools things down.

wow 100 + degrees! thats really hot! My 02 stays around 90ish. If i'm at a stop light i'll turn it off

even in today's weather, the highest i saw was 92

How fast were you going? Were you stopping? How long were the stops? etc, etc. It all matters. Fact is, if you stand in traffic long enough you will hit 100+ on an 06 r6. In winter my garage is about 5C and if I leave the bike idling long enough it'll hit 100+.

Unless you install a custom headlight switch, headlights stay on after the engine is turned off until you put the ignition to 'off' position. So I'm guessing his headlights were on when he left the rad fan running.

i got a 06 r6 n i never hit 110 yet n last sat was pretty hot n i was doing alot of city riding

2001 r6 average rideing temp 84-90
stop and go 90-110 and fan comes on

Sounds pretty normal ..
Mine runs 100+ to 110 all the time ..
Even on the track when I come in from a session the
fan is going like mad while the temp reads at, or near 110 ..
