Finally watched it this weekend. Holy hell that was amazing. I had to go pee right after the race that is how excited I got.

Lorenzo said after the race that he "didn't expect Rossi to pass him on that last turn"......does he know who he's dealing with....***** Rossi went off the track to pass stoner....... LOL, hopefully he learns from his mistakes.
As for being on the same "team" not sure about that apparently Rossi built a wall between where they stage the bikes for the race so they don't steal his setups....wow.
Nevertheless, Rossi is a champ.

The fact that they don't really like each other is what made this race. Could you imagine if they wrecked each other on the last lap and Stoner rode past for the victory, Fiat Yamaha would be freaking out. I've seen 1 and 2 crash out before going for it but not on the same team at such a early point in the season with so much at stake, if stoner pushed his lead to another 25 points that would be a big advantage for him. Stoner is impressing me more and more all the time. He had always outperformed Melandri and now he is miles ahead of Hayden. The Ducati is not quite the bike that the Yamahas are but he's managed to do quite well with it. I'd love to see Valantino and Casey go at it with identical equipment.

I haven't read this complete thread and I just had the chance to watch the race yesterday (PVR) all I can say is holy^%$%^$ that was awesome
Rossi is beyond human, I heard he has alien in him. No one can compete in Rossi's realm, he truely is the best. Who ever tries to take him out gets banished, a la Biaggi
Between the Yamchas, Ducatis and even the Hondas I wager they are all about even in terms of equipment. Stoner/Rossi/Lorenzo were neck and neck until the last race so its not a question of equipment for these two, its just they are in competition with the G.O.A.T!
