Great post. My RTI instructor told us about this stretch of road. He goes every year.

I'd love to see the day where trucks are not allowed on that road.
I cant see why any vehicle that must use up the on coming lane out of necessity would be allowed on a road. It makes no sense.

They are allowed in TN which is where most of the road is. Even though they aren't allowed on the NC side that hasn't stopped all of them as they have still been on the road since it became illegalthey are not allowed
I've experienced a truck on that very stretch of road and its scary to say the least, especially when you come around a blind corner, only to see a truck taking up the whole road and you have no where to go! Thank goodness, the killboy photographers and the other riders/ drivers go out of their way to warn you.
