But we knew that already, right? Gave em a try for $150 tax in from pro6 at the bike show in January. I've worn them this season only, 2 months or so. So far:
Velcro almost gone from both zippers.
Rubber "safe max" design pieces coming off the heels of both boots, one corner fallen off and gone.
Reflective silver oval pieces above the heel cracked and broken on both boots
Inner ankle guard/brace on the right boot broken and hanging off
One of the screw anchors on the toe slider on right boot has come out, so only one screw holding it on.
I'm going to e-mail NEXO directly this week and see what they have to say.
Absolutely. Like I said, gave em a try. Thought they might last one season at least! haha.
I've had my Nexo boots going on 4 years with zero problems. Not the best protection true enough but better than shoes. I bet Nexo will help you out. Ask for Salman , good guy.
I'll keep an eye on mine but they've been great so far.
to be honest Nexo is parity darn good, but like any company you can get lemons. But nexo and Rob (pannonm sports) even are very good at dealing with it, bet you wil be will taken care of.
I am pretty cheap and picked up a pair of Nitro for $110.
REally happy with it

You suck! But for $150.... yea...
Daytonas and Dainese boots kick ***.
A* SupertechR's have an inner boot system that provides good ankle support.
Teknic has one boot that also has the inner boot, not sure what model it is.
Sidi has the new Vortice but i don't know anything about it.

I bought a pair at Pannon and I have no problems with them. They were somewhat tight at the beginning, but now they are quite comfortable. Like others said, they are cheap, but certainly better than a pair of street shows. Besides they work well with my leather pants.
I enjoy listening to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.
Isn't NEXO stuff made in Pakistan? lmao
I have the A*'s SMX Plus as well, love them now that they're finally broken in.

You will find a majority of mass producers source their leather materials from Pakistan.
I see nothing wrong with the NEXO line. I have made the inquiries and awaiting the funds to build before buying. Sure, the A* amd Sidi's are decent boots, but really a bit out of my price point for the level of riding I do.
Racing? Sidi or A* or even AGV and Dianese - I have used Sidi with Sinisalo leathers with no material blowouts and injuries related to the equipment.
To the friends place and Tim's? I can't justify the 3X the price.

Oh yeah, I forgot... GTAM discourages sarcasm and humour.

Yea i've seen that homo too. He sure can ride tho
I know that some of the SMX boots don't have a lot of lateral ankle support but i don't know which ones. Something you'd have to play with when you're holding the boot.. try to do what was done in the Sidi boot pic.
I picked up my SupertechR's off eGay for $275 used. They pop up on the WERA board fairly regularly too.
