Some of the Vaughan riders are doing a run this Saturday June 6th from Vaughan to Bala/Big Chute/ South Wood. Approximate duration is 5 hours.
Leaving at Tim Horton's (next to Metro Supermarket), Weston/Rutherford, northwest corner. Meeting at 9:15 am and leaving at 9:30 sharp.
Pace moderate. Everyone is welcome but no squids please.

Squid is a slang term used to describe an irresponsible motorcyclist. The term is common among motorcyclists in North America.
The term is generally used to describe a motorcyclist who rides aggressively, erratically or beyond their capabilities. Actions that may cause a motorcyclist to be identified as a squid are those that are seen as reckless or excessive, such as gratuitous speeding, or performing wheelies or stoppies in the midst of other traffic.
A rider may also be labeled a squid by favoring clothing such as shorts, ball caps, flip flops, and so-called wifebeater shirts - or no shirt at all - over appropriate motorcycling attire, such as a helmet, gloves, leather jacket, riding pants, or boots.

Southwood 13 is still a beach. I might be joining this ride with a few others, meet i barrie along the 400 somewere.
We can change the route and avoid southwood 13 if necessary. Probably best place to meet you guys is off #400 in Barrie at a gas station near one of the exit ramps.
400 & Inisfill Beach Road has a Timmies and Shell Station, you guys might need to fuel up and grab a coffee. What time you have in mind?
We're leaving Woodbridge at 9:30 so 10:00 should be about right. I know the spot very well.
A Beach you say! so we get to see women in bikinis laying on the side of the road?
South Wood might be removed from the route. lots of other roads we can explore.

Would love to be on this ride. Prolly not gonna happen tomorrow. Have a good time lads. And Ron, keep the pace newbie friendly, and do not under any circumstances exceed the bikes top end.

Never, I only have a sport touring not a super sport plus this is my first year riding and I still have the training wheels plus I never ride faster than what my bike can go. Please read the fine print before twisting the throttle.

I rode southwood a week back for the second time this year... there are sandy spots but i managed, there are alot of nice clear stretches aswell ... it was ten times worse when i went up at the end of april last month.. just be cautious but that road is awesome!
Bala, big chute, whites falls road, 169 etc etc where all in great shape when i was up there
