Anyone see some whirly flashing lights today at Mavis and Matheson in Missisauga? Ya, that was me.
Long story short, she merged from the center lane to the right lane infront of me, I hit her rear bumper and then went over.
Amazing how much time you have to think when your flying down the road.
I am alive and sore as hell.
My head hurts, my hip is sore and my left thumb is painfull as hell. I do not look forward to waking up 2moro.
No charges were laid, no body was at fault as of the Peel's accident report.
Dainese JetPac leather jacket is fubared but saved my skin, a few holes in the leather and some nice skid marks. Shoei RF-1000 is two chunks out of the back of it, A* boots held up and probably saved my feet and are allowing me to walk right now. Left toe slider is gone. Dainese leather gloves held up well.
As for the bike, I think she will become a streetfighter now. If they forks are okay, which they LOOk to be, all I need is are new clipons as my right one was bent in heavily and new fairings. My left fairing is in one piece but the front is ****ed and my right side is meh.
I'll post pictures and videos that I took later and I am surprised that I managed to type all this out.

no my bike didn't end up on the side walk, i moved it.
and two the worst/funnies part is someone that was looking at my accident slowed down and the asian woman slammed into her car. The rear and the front and of the cars were both toast. lol

Did you happen to get any comments from the make-up artist?
J**** Scotty, I'm glad to hear you made out alright...relatively speaking of course. Hope you're up and at it again soon.

Take care dude. Check out the legal help. That cager needs to learn to look before changing lanes. Teach them a lesson!
Keep your spirits up glad to hear it isn't too serious. Good luck with putting your bike back together.
Glad your ok, speedy recovery !
good you're OK!
Glad to hear you're okay. Just goes to show people, wearing the right gear does save your Skin!
good to hear you're not hurt worse... get better soon!
Pain is inevitable.... suffering is optional
Happy to hear you can tell your story, someone was watching out for you. But do we really have to deal with cops not laying charges when a biker slides down a road and almost killed by careless driving. That's not right and if it had been a bicycle bet charges would be laid, careless driving, undue care and attention, unsafe lane change causing an accident.
