Hi all,
I'm plotting a route to Bobcaygeon and here's what I've tentatively come up with.
Any suggestions as to tweek this route?
Route Here
not bad but to many straight roads in the city for my liking but i live in peterborough so i can not talk.
Mental health who needs it?There is a reason you never see motorcycles infront of a therapists office.
I'd get off the 404 earlier at Bloomington, and go through Coppin's Corners and Uxbridge.
If this is just a ride for riding's sake, though, I wouldn't stop at Bobcaygeon, because just a little farther away lies most of the decent roads around here!

I went this way recently. I took hwy 9 east all the way to where it ends, then north on lake ridge road, then east again on little britain road. i know its a little bit of a deviation for your ride, but its more fun then then boring hwy 48 and 12
Oh boy, what a boring route. LOL ..
Heres what you do ...
401 to Brock Street in whitby ( go north)
Follow that all the way up just past haugens and turn right into Port Perry.
Go through port perry on hwy 7 and continue on hwy 7.
Turn left onto county road #57 Caserea.
make a right at the stop sign and caserera.
Follow this all the way and it takes you to hwy 35 outside lindsay.
Once you turn left onto hey 35, make a left a top of the next big hill.
I think its called Moe Hill road.
Follow that all the way just outside Omemee.
At the lights in Omemee, make a left and follow that road for a few km;s.
You will come to a small town and just outside it there is a small intersection with a yellow blinking light.
Turn right there and that will take you along the Pigeon lake.
Follow to the end and make a right .. your now in bobcaygeon.
And it was more scenic and twisty than hwy 12 ..
Cheers.

I think the name of that stretch is Yankee Line. When you get to the blinking light, I think that's right before the causway over Lake Chemung where you go left. Emma Rd (maybe?) Over the bridge at Gannon Narrows, etc....
It's been yrs, but even if you get lost up there, it's all good.
What about the 507/503? I've never ridden those. I suppose I can put them on the way home?
