Sunday May 24 - Grand Bend Ride

Well, here we go again!

Planning a ride to Grand Bend for lunch (and maybe ice cream

) and back.

DATE: Sunday, May 24
TIME: 9:30AM
DEPART: 10:00AM Sharp

MEET: Donut Shop at South/East corner of 89 and 10 -- (East of Shelbourne).

Have route in mind, but need someone with GPS who can program it for me and PM it to those interested.

Also, any takers on leading the group with me would be great!

So far temps call for SUNNY High of 19.

A great/fun place (I grew up just outside GB). Lots of straight roads to get there though.

OKAY So from what I see I have 2 confirmed???

I have called a restaurant and have tentatively made arrangements for lunch depending on the number of people.

For those of you just waiting to see. If I could get some idea of if you are gonna make it. The lunch spot is Riverbend Bar and Grill in Grand Bend. Their special for tomorrow is wings and skins for $7.99. They also have amazing sandwiches....clubs and wraps. I have spoken with them and told them would like to cap lunch for everyone at about 10 bucks including beverage and they are able to accommodate.

So, lunch in total will be $15 with tip and taxes. If you all can make sure you have the correct money it will give us less time sitting around. and Hopefully we can get in a short walk around town to stretch our legs and get some shots of the group and such before getting back on our bikes.

It is going to be an AMAZING day all round weather and good company! WOO HOOO

ALSO, Who needs to see a map of the route?

Sorry, I had to bail early. Didn't want to get back home too late and be dead tired for my dreadful work tomorrow. Also, my bike would have turned into a lump of garlic and my boots back to raggedy old slippers if I didn't get back home early enough

Nice meeting everyone! I'm sure I'll see everyone throughout the summer.

Thanks to those of you who turned out for it! It was amazing!

I found out though that my spedometer is about 10-15 KM out from you sport bikes! DOH! Sorry about that Gina! LOL
