Rest in Peace - Chris Budd

from what I heard from my other coworkers. He was out with a few guys from work thusday night. around 1am He said he was going to go home to take a nap and go out again since he didnt have work friday morning.
On the way home a car turning left didn't see him and pulled infront of him. I didnt hear about it till friday morning at work. Our boss gathered us all together for a meeting and told us that he passed away from a motorcycle accident.

I've only known him for about half a year. During the first few months I started working, I found out he had a bike so we both went riding one day along with my other buddies. He was such a joker. Always fun to have him around at work. brought a cheery atmosphere around him when he worked. In those 6 months I got to know him, he became one of my favourite coworkers to work with.
I'm ganna miss you man. ganna miss those "let's get some Caffees!".
    rest in peace man.

No conclusions have been drawn by the authorities yet [that we have been informed of] as the case is still under investigation. However, based on what we saw at the scene of the incident, the driver of the Kia attempted to make her left turn at the last minute, ending up right in the path of my brother. He slammed into the front passenger corner of her vehicle (which was pretty much exactly where the driver would be in a southbound car - exactly where riders are suggested to stay in a lane).

The personal opinion police officer in Scarborough suggested that the driver of the Kia was blatantly at fault.

A Facebook group was created in his memory and can be found here:

This part of the post is to clear up the details provided in the original post, which are flawed.

Chris was driving alone around 9:30 pm on Thursday evening. He was on his way home so he could go out for a Guiness with his friends as he had no work on Friday.

Chris followed the same route every time he drove alone. He was familiar with the area, which he had traveled hundreds of times, and was a very serious rider - a fact which anyone who spent time with him on the road can attest.

He was driving southbound on Altona Road and a northbound driver turned left into his path. There were no skid marks left by Chris' motorcycle suggesting that he had very little time to react to the car.

The authorities were contacted at 9:34 pm. A witness began to comfort his dead body and perform CPR as soon as the crash occurred. The EMS took over the efforts to save his life as soon as they arrived. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

If you have any questions, leave them here and I will try to answer them as best as I can.

    My deepest condolences.
Wow, I didn't know we'd become such good friends, because if we had, you'd know that I give **** before I give favors and I don't even give my best friends **** so your chances of getting a favor are pretty ******* slim. - Go
