    2005 636 idle question

Bikes idle jumps up and down while running.....

The bike has an aftermarket exhaust but does not have a power commander. Do I need a power commander to fix the issue?

    Any info would be great.

That's not the same thing. Mine only goes up and down slightly, but constant. I'd say no more than +/- 1000 rpm...

Hey man could be the same thing but maybe not kinked as much. Just check it out and see if its wrapped around the throttle body, it wont hurt.

under your seat you will see this black box, when you turn the bike on does the centre keep spinning?

this is a pic I found on the net of a homemade limiter.

Yeah I have this same issue, is it a must fix or is it merely a preference?
