I had an older version that I bought on ebay a few years ago. It lasted longer than the 2 previous Gorilla alarms I had that only last 3 months each.
THe main problem with this alarm was that the connection to the antenna kept coming unpluged due to the vibrations in the bike and I had to keep plugging it in. When it came out the remote wouldn't work because the unit couldn't pick it up. Also it only came with one remote. I didn't like that.
The unit lasted me 2 1/2 seasons. I don't think it was waterproof. I think that's what killed it.
