What mAh do I need?
Any idea who makes a rechargeable Mithium battery with enough juice to get decent record times out of? I want to be able to recharge them, not having to throw $ down the toilet every 2 hrs of record time.

I have been using Sanyo Eneloop batteries, they work very well with this camera.

Eneloop is Nickel Metal Hydridie am I right?
Do these suffice in a vibration envirment as well as Lithium?

They work very well in this camera. Under race bike conditions.... aka, allot of vibration.

NiMh (heck, even NICad) batteries have been used in r/c applications for YEARS... vibrations don't really affect battery performance.

LiPo batteries work better all around, especially in cold weather applications. But I still get around 1.5 hours out of my 950 mAh NiMH batteries and you can get them for $15 for 4 at factory direct.

I've only used my camera a few times but my eneloops seem to be getting 2hrs of recording time (maybe a bit less).

Or maybe it is 1.5 hours, I don't remember.

I think it is 2 hours though because I know I can only do two 2gb cards then I have to switch batteries.
