Guess you don't get out of the city much then,, Loud Pipes are the target of choice this year for the OPP..

I know 4 Harley and 3 Sportbike riders that already got nailed this year.

I like the sound of my can with my cats removed, so I think I'll stick with that for a bit

So by taking out the cat and not re-mapping, you lost almost 10 hp

Re: Who can cut my can?

The dyno operator said that 100 was right on the mark for other stock 08 R6's (he looked em up in the dyno list for the runs he's done). He said the highest dyno for R6, full system, PC, filter, was 110.6HP.

So, obviously the dyno that those bikes were run on in the chart may have been a diff model, diff conditions, etc.

My A/F ratio was only off by .1 at WOT at max HP so tuning wouldn't help much.

Re: Who can cut my can?

From what I understand, all the bikes they test are 100% stock and I doubt there is a difference between Canadian and US models. Condition's can't make a 10% difference..I would look into remapping

I doubt he lost 10 HP from a cat removal. Different dyno brands and models will give different HP results. Compare a Factory Pro HP result to a DynoJet and see how much more a DynoJet gives.
Can't we settle this over a pint?

Pardon?? I think you are thinking of Taj's bike that night:

Here is Taj's bike getting prepped to run the dyno with no oil:

    LICK FOR HIGH RES!

The dyno operator is bent down behind the bike trying to figure out what that strange sound is... Taj is looking a little worried

    LICK FOR HIGH RES!

The dyno operator "bend down over there and tell me if that noise coming from your engine is normal???"

    LICK FOR HIGH RES!

"I think that noise is normal, lets give her a run..."

    LICK FOR HIGH RES!

Uh oh! Look maaa, no oil!!!

    LICK FOR HIGH RES!

Forget about the time you brought the cops to our spot? That we were riding at problem free for over a year before you showed up with your "stunted 900rr with a gutted muffler"....I think it took all of 5min for them to find us, just following the sound of your bike...
