    If you get a slip-on get the "E" model header too if you can find one, flows a lot better and combined witht the 3x3, carb, re-jet it will be a totally different bike you will be amazed!!!!!! Best part even with little mechanical knowledge and a few tips from DRZ guys you can do it all yourself.

    Anyone know off the top of their head what I would need to get a 2005 drz400e set of front and backs to fit an 08 drz400sm? I'm guessing the axle is the same, just need to find a front rotor for the dirt tire that will fit the sm caliper.

    You can take the rotors off of your sm wheels and bolt them onto the E wheels.

    The wheels will bolt right up cause the hubs are the same. Depending on what rear sprocket you want to run will determine whether or not you need a different chain.
