Get it off fleabay.. Sometimes they even improve on the OEM design. I'm picking up a 7500mAh battery for my dv9700 while stock is in the 4400-4800 range. Great for those long flights.

+1 eBay. Do your research though. If you're buying non-oem, don't buy crap.

Anything local? Found a few websites in Canada. With the dollar in the crapper and duty, rather buy local if possible.

Look at the model numbers and the mAh rating. I've saved a bundle buying aftermarket batteries for cameras and phones.. Here's a couple of examples...
OEM Nokia Battery $90+tax - Aftermarket (same rating) off fleabay $30 shipped
OEM Sony Battery $150+tax - Aftermarket (1.5 times the mAh rating) TWO for $33 shipped

Try A1 Electronics on North Queen.
They're in the book.

Great canadian site. And they use quality cells (Panasonic) in most of their stuff.
I've used Batterycanada.com before. Great prices on batteries that roll out of the same factory, without the 'manufacturer' label. (Nobody makes their own batteries anyway, so no diff).

I've heard a lot of good things about canadaram.com They are in BC though.
