I have a question, although it may seem dumb. This thing still has a pager that tells you when someone is moving your **** right?

Or does it just make noise and thats it?

I think it just makes a sound (one-way)
But range for a two-way could be pretty bad anyhoo

ForceGe has converted his to work with GMRS radio for much greater range. Just some food for thought.

he modifyed a 2 way radio but you can find generic pager system that could be attached, look at the talon fourms and FAQ, sure they had one like to one

I'm almost certain that they do. If they don't, they can custom make one for your bike, free of charge (at least, that's what they told me).

I also wanted to note, that you guys shouldn't hold your breath for a better deal than what we're currently getting. The alarm is attractively priced normally, and we're getting even more savings on top of that. Shop around and you'll see there isn't any alarm you can get with the same features for that price. So in saying that, the most I would hope for is free shipping tacked on to the current discount.

In for the top model ($169).

I believe they don't officially have a pager model but the harness allows for starter kill (required by some insurers).

Cross my finger Talon agrees for free shipping if we exceed the number of buyers.

Can we wire it in without the starter kill function? Not really a fan of something I don't have a key for that controls if my bike will start or not... Electronics make me nervous.

yes u can wire it without kill function.

And its the EXACT same functions as the scorpio alarm including the extra's except the fm pager thing which people have figured out how to add if you REALLY want it.

I think it might be simple as removing a wire from the harness, but I'm not sure. There should be a way though, check Talon's forums.

I feel the same way. If it's a plug and play system how can you wire it without the kill switch function?

You leave the factory starter relay alone and dont do anything with the harness assembly that is supposed to interface with the starter relay....

What is the drop dead date for getting in on this?
What's the update for the potential free shipping discount?

it WILL work on any bike lol. The trick is do they have the wire harnes for your bike. check the website if they do or don't. but here is the trick, if they don't have the wire harness for your bike check the fourms for there thread about that. Basiclay you get a free wire harnes if you help them make it, IE you take pictures or where it needs to hook in they make it you get it free. Now I know we are getting it free anyway but the idea is they will make you one if you help them which is my plan. I may get the sv650 and see how close it is since ts free then contact them and say got the alaarm here are pic's of the conectors and get the free one if the sv650 don't fit lol.
