Ontario Cycle Salvage
Peterborough Cycle Salvage (not really GTA, but...)
Oshawa Cycle Salvage
The Bike Yard
As the list grows it is going to become harder to follow it, on the map as well as in text. There should be some way to categorize them, like dealerships, salvage yards, mechanics, paint shops, welders, CNC machinists, etc. I know, for example that Rider's Choice doesn't do any welding, but Rosey Toes has a very good welder right next door.

I originally just wanted one map showing any motorcycle related store in the GTA and I think I'll stick to that. For now, everything will stay blue, but if there are places that are strictly mechanical shops or salvage yards, I'll colour code the pins. Most dealer/accessories stores do mechanical work anyways, so its a bit of a waste to have dealer/accessory and mechanic shops separate.
I'm glad this list is helpful to you guys - it really helped me when I started looking for gear and kept forgetting the address and general location of the store!

Anyone know what's up with "The Motorcyclist" in downtown Toronto? I've been trying to get ahold of them all week, but just keep getting voicemail and they never return my calls :/
Does anyone know if Vonn Cycle is open on Saturdays?
Google Maps I compiled some time ago.
Please click on "view large map" under the map.

Very nice, thanks for sharing. I wonder if there was a way to make these maps collaborative so several people (if not everyone) can edit or add to it? I have saved it in my Google Maps favorites, but still can't edit it.
Any way to convert a Google map like this one to GPS waypoints? That would surely be editable, albeit harder than the map itself.

I'm already adding some roads in there, but I agree that it may be better if we keep the maps separate. The store map is busy enough as it is. I'm willing to invest some serious time, but I'd like to make sure that time is not going to be wasted. We are up to a very good start, now we just need to build some structure and agree on basic conventions.
- I'm trying to figure out how to mark interesting roads end to end without using waypoints and with ability to add comments, instructions, etc. So far the best I can do is what you can see with Southwood Road, by drawing a jagged line, but I'd like to actually have routes that will follow the road and contain proper distance information.
- I don't know which waypoint markers and which colors to us. Maybe we should agree on some convention to avoid the whole map looking uninteligible?
Any other questions, ideas, answers?

I added another map on the same page - "motorcycle-friendly roads".
It is open for edit for everybody, please use it if you have a minute.
But what I was thinking - may be it would be better if you have it on the same map, nice road plus motorcycle store plus nice viewpoints?
On the second thouth - when you have several maps, you can check in both and you see everything on the same screen. Nice.
Ok, we'll see.
Sure, PM me your email and I will provide invitation for edit.
