Corrosion is a reality a lot of us know all too well. I can accept it in most cases but I love my bike far too much to just stand idle as the elements eat away at it. There are a few ways to go about fighting the good fight but after some research, I've decided on ACF-50.
Here are some links I found in my research:
http://www.acf-50.co.uk/motorcycle.htm

This stuff isn't water-based so there's no need to re-apply every time the bike is washed which I do quite often during the warmer months and the can I bought is enough to cover both my bikes. It's not harmful to plastics even though I'll be applying it with the plastics off but if any were to get onto the fairings, I've got no worries there. As the weather warms up, I'll be out there riding without the fear of salt or water damage.
I'm not affiliated with the product or the local distributor in anyway and due to possible forum rules on free advertising, I won't be posting up where you guys can get ACF-50 but I searched for the Canadian distributor and found that they have a 416 number so I picked mine up locally.
If you've tried a similar product and are happy with it, please review it, I'd be willing to look into other options.
