Sidi Streetburner Boots vs Other Brands

    Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of purchasing the Sidi Streetburner Boots in the summer. Now I know these are more half boots and don't protect the calf but I was wondering if these are worth getting for just street riding. I am looking for a boot that is great for street riding but at the same time I can walk around in with no discomforted.

Also has anyone purchased these boots and is there a review on them. I was also wondering if they are any other brands that can be compared to them that might offer better support and still give me that great comfort for walking

Any "touring" boot will be comfortable for riding and walking and give good lower leg/ankle protection. Most touring boots are also not too flashy & waterproof too.

Every decent manufacturer including Sidi make touring boots.

The Sidi line of touring boots are extremely well done.I've had a pair of Sidi Sympatex GT's for about 7 yrs now.Although they look like they are about 20 yr old, they are still 100% waterproof and very comfy to walk in.Crash protection....better than sneakers.

i have a set of puma flat v2's .... streamlined, comfy, and good ankle protection.... not a race boot by any means...but exponentially better than running shoes
