If it is the spot I am thinking about, It's a pretty nice place! It is conveniently between Kinmount and highway 507. It is a bit east of Kinmount, roughly here:

You used to be able to see it from the road but they rebuilt the bridge a few years back and made the sides solid and higher. Now you can't see over the sides to notice it. The entrance is just east of the bridge and there is a little parkette there.

Yah Tom, that's the place! I couldn't remember if it was East or West of Kinmount, but now that you mention it - I do think it is to the East.
Awesome place to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

Algonquin was nice, no question. Hwy 17 between Sault Ste Marie and Wawa was out of this world especially near Montreal River, sans logging trucks of course. But if I get my way this year, we could be headed to Gaspe Peninsula which apparently blows your mind.

Not really an inspirational place to ride to , but an inspirational moment while riding:
I had left Woodbridge late on a Saturday early-evening in October a year and half ago. I was heading out to Gatineau, Quebec, which is beside Hull Quebec in the Ottawa area. It was raining when I left and rained for most of the ride. I was taking highway 7 as I much more enjoy secondary roads and highways as opposed to the 400 series. I am not exactly sure where is was but I think somewhere after Kaladar and a while before Perth it stopped raining. The sky was overcast from the rain and it was long after sunset. There was no light anywhere to be found.. no house lights, no street lights, n ocars oncoming or behind me. Nothing but the lights from my headlight and the lights on the dash. Just me and my bike! It was a neat feeling.. kind of like being in outer space as you couldn't see anything except the road in front of the bike being illuminated by the headlights. The universe became the lights, the gentle vibrations throught the handgrips and the purring of the bike That went on for about maybe 5 minutes when the clouds started parting and the moon came out. The road was lit up past my headlights and looked like a silver river.
It was one of those wonderful moments!
