    racing-underground.com

Guys, I'm looking for someone who's willing to give me an invitation code to racing-underground.com. I used to have an account, but I haven't used the site in like a year, and it appears that my account no longer exists. The site is now invitation only, with existing members who have acceptable share/seeding ratios given invitation codes to give out to others. They may not have started to hand them out yet, as they are putting the finishing touches on the invitation system apparently. So if anyone had one already, or when you get one, I'd be very grateful if you'd hook me up! Thanks.

You can always donate to the site as well to get access.

I'm still minus 18gb so i don't think i will be able to give out any invitations, well i don't have the invite feature in my CP.

My trouble is most of my d/loads from that site were for F1 races from the early 80's....i don't think anyone wants them anymore.

It'd seem these invites are hard to come by as I haven't gotten one yet.

Word on the street, is that they will have certain periods where the invite code requirement will be lifted for a short time. You will just have to check the site periodically I guess. I don't know if this is true, or if so, when the first time it will happen or how often.

The reason why no one is offering up invites is because the people who send the invites are responsible for the invitees. If they just leech and run, you lose your access too. I have a couple invites, but there is no upside to giving out an invite on the site. If the person you give the invite to is a major seeder, there is no benefit to the inviter. It's all risk and no reward. I am just hanging on to them until someone I know personally asks for one. It isn't personal, its just a flaw in how they have set up the system.

I'm in Switzerland currently without a TV or HI def Cable so if anyone could hook a brother up with an invite, would be awesome.

By the way, I'm on a seedbox and have a min 2:1 (as much as 5:1) ratio on all my trackers.

I'd be more than happy to trade for a HiDef tracker site if that's cool too.

PM me. Something tells me F1 and MotoGP will be decent this year...

seeding is after you have downloaded a torrent, you need to keep it open so other people can download from you.

your ratio should try to be 1 to 1, meaning, if you download 1GB you should try to upload 1GB.

    Re: racing-underground.com

another thing to help get your ratio up, is to be sharp and on the ball for when releases are made, so you are one of the first to get it, and first to in turn seed the download. Then you are distributing to more people throughout the peak period of demand, vs waiting till the end for a faster download, but no one to upload it to when you have finally leeched it.

Usually popular events are available as soon as 15mins to 1 hour hour after the event, so its good to float around so you can nab the file as soon as it comes available. Then, seed for as long as possible to increase that data ration, which allows you to download fun or not so demanding stuff where you will lose on your ratio.

I agree they have become really tight but you have to admit the downloading is much much faster.
