The race version goes much lower, more protection. But its the best for the street, it gets uncomfortable as you'l be sitting up more than crouching.

its about $25 more, for more protection...

7 plate - 5'8" & under
8 plate - 5'9" to 6'3"
9 plate - 6'4" & over

Need some clarification guys....for the race version, it's and 8 plate, yet I'm 5'8" will it be to big for me? AT 5'8" the sizing suggests the 7 plate. Also will the race version be available in this group buy? How about the attaching chest protector?

the race ver seems to only come in 8 plate...

but honestly if your using for street/odd track day dont bother with the race version.

you will have to speak with Topendz directly about the chest thing
