    Another new member.

    Hey guys.
    i got my first bike last year. Just a 79 yamaha xs1100 special, something to learn on. NOW FOR SALE!!!
    Looking to upgrade to more sporty bike.
    I have been tracking cars for years and want to get into lapping days with bikes.
    Im thinking something like a sv650 with a gsxr front end or a modified z1000 would do the trick.

    isn't going from 1100cc to 10000c or 650cc down-grading?

    i supose so if you want to be technical about it...

    the "down grade" that im more looking forward to is the 695 lbs to the 395 lbs.....

    Welcome.Sounds like a really good choice to me.Lighter is better at the track.

    SV650 is a great bike for track and road.
