Even though I sold mine mid last year, I'll have access to a friends bike throughout the summer. I'll be showing up for a ride every once in a while for sure!

I came across this today - it's my old bike that I sold back in August. The new owner was a beginer and crashed it!

Hey Jay, what would be the cost to fix it up again.....

Now that is depressing, personally i wouldn't bother fixing it, you turned your back on her, and you expect her to take you back.

    Just jokes, just jokes!

I think I'm done with sport bikes. I'm looking at getting a cruiser, maybe a Suzuki Boulevard or something like that. There's just no place to ride a sport bike the way they're intended to be ridden around here, without always checking over your shoulder.
I'm just going to slow things down a bit. If I want to go fast, I might pick up a track bike later on.

Sounds interesting. How many people usually go and what kind of routes do you all take?

I agree with you, i been contemplating downgrading to a ninja 250 or a cbr250 and just stick to the track, picked up a 1piece suit and now hunting down for a track bike. streets this year will be more for cruising and sightseeing. (will see how long that lasts)

for the past summer there hasn't been really much of a schedule ride, but on average you will have about 5-10 riders, as for routes i just follow the sun, but as everyone else knows i should never lead, i have a problem with directions

wow has time tamed some of the yngings,
there are sports-touring bike like the dl650 they are great fun, and sort of the best of both worlds.
they good for everyday and long halls, still lots of get up and go.
and you still have you feet under you, not infront and spread out like a $2 hooker

damn, that was my shift last summer, and for the life of me couldn't find anyone to ride with on the weekdays, so it was mostly solo runs at night, and honestly it was sweet, no traffic, no cops, but a lot of racoons maybe i will go back to that shift in the summer cant beat 3 day weekends.

Yea, the 3 day wknds r beautiful! Tappin the bike out on the 401 after work was cool, but goin straight is only fun 4 so long lol ......twisties at night only suck cuz of nocturnal wildlife, so don't really do much of that.
Also had a couple calls from the "never there when u need them" patrol about ppl callin them complaining about "a loud motorcycle" around my neighbourhood late at night lol
Well if u go back 2 that shift make sure u get ahold of me!
