    The MTO clerk is 100% right and it isn't just a matter of being "by the book." Sometimes being that way is the right way. It's a good way of knowing if the shop actually looked at the vehicle in question.

    The shop has already done the work and there should be no reason for you to have to pay more, to correct their mistake.

    although I got one done at a CT once and it was like $90

    i went to ted @ rosey toes to do my cert, costed me only $40 or sth like that.. definitely a lot less than $85
