    Did you try State Farm?
I only pay $2,000/yr just for my bike , I'm older than dirt, and nothing on my driving record.
Try using an address from a remote town up north somewhere. You may chop off as much as 30%.
Hamilton is NOT insurance friendly, but it's home -

Agreed, insurance here is terrible and varies in prices from block to block (address wise).
2000$ seems expensive for no tickets. I'm with SF as well, only 26, only M2 have full coverage on my 600cc and pay 1100$/yr for just my bike. I know I'm a girl, but I thought being 'older than dirt' trumped that. lol.

Do you have any other coverage with SF? i.e. car, etc?
I could lower my bike ins to about $1100 by switching my car over, but that would be unwise, as it would increase in excess of $1500, to $2400 from the $900 I'm paying now. I can't win.
No retiree discount from SF on my bike either. (I get 15% off my car)

Not at first and I was paying 1400$/yr. Then I picked up a tinnny life insurance policy that cost me 14$/ month but saved like 40$/month on my motorcycle insurance for having 'dual insurances'. Handy trick my SF agent brought about. So now I pay less but have the additional benefit of life insurance. Full coverage for only 1100$/yr. My car and home are insured elsewhere as SF couldn't match my car rate due to my one ticket. And the house was the exact same, but I get a discount on my car through the other place for having both there...

    yeah, I'm long winded
