3. Why don't warmers blanket around the wheel rims as well? If a tire is surrounded by an 80C warmer on one side and a 15C metal rim (for example) on the other in ambient temps, how do you expect to heat soak the entire tire to 80C, independent of time?

Interestingly enough, F1 teams used to have additional warmers for the inside of the wheel. This practice was specifically banned for the 2010 season.

A car has a whole different advantage because they can cover the outside rim area real easy. That fact alone makes a car warmer much more efficient,,and easier to apply.

John, you offer one hell of a warmer. After receiving my Bickle warmers I re-tested and compared both warmers tonight, side by side... what a difference in performance.
