^Yup. All you need is a bike specific repair manual, maybe some youtube video's, and this forum. Dive in head first! lol..

Humber College offers a couple of Motorcycle Maintenance courses, A one day basic and a 6 session advanced..

Or you can just "Dive In" and then pay a professional double to fix your mistakes. There's a reason professional techs do a 5 year apprenticeship.

Centennial College as well. I've taken the 2 electrical ones and learned lots.

I am keeping my bike and since I've had it for quite a while I am not afraid to tinker with it. A new engine for me would be much more expensive. I am gonna keep this bike so I can learn from it.

I would say its the cheapest course u can find and u learn at ur own pace. There are lots of manuals out there but u can search online and understand everything better.

Buy the haynes manual for your bike.
Buy some beer and a pizza and when you attenpt to do something, invite your mate who knows more about bikes than you and bribe him with pizza and beer.
    You will learn loads.
Just take your time, think about what you are doing and you will be fine.

As someone else said look on you tube as well.
Also you can put on sticky labels on parts that you disconect. Also taking photos on your camera helps as well.
