I got the Knight Rider GPS and it's the stuff.
KITT says my name, and the GPS part actually works too.

I just don't get why I would need Kitt talking to me, I can never hear my GPS over the sound of the bike or stereo in the car.
I hear where you're coming from about the hearing part. Listen to this though, it's got red flashing lights when it speaks. OK - that was WAY less dramatic than it should have been, regardless, on beat or on syllable, the red lights flash... whatever man, it's cool lol
It's got a 10 level volume chooser preference you can select. On the bike, use the lights as a cue that something is being communicated to you, glance down, check out where your route line is going, proceed.
I couldn't agree with you more, the car talking back is a long lived fantasy (she may choose a different word to describe it, just tell her all the cool places you want to go with her now, find little places you didn't know about maybe... it's cool though).

Dude what are you gonna do when you can't opperate electronics while driving?
I mean besides the obvious dark tinting fo the windows.
The turn on opening sequence is a pre-prompted question: "are yOU a passenger in the vehicle not the driver? Do not operate while driving."
You push 'OK' so I don't operate it while I'm driving.
What is that about the tinted windows?
I didn't say anyone was weird for the record. I think stuff instead my head but I don't really talk to my vehicles ever for the record also.

Tinted windows is this film stuff you can get on your windows so people can't see in when you're doing stuff that could be misinturprated as something else.
ie. I roll drum tobacco beacsue I have a lot of british bad habits.
untinted windows I got questioned from the man. Tinted windows no questions.

Really! that's an interesting bit of research on the tint, very appealing information, thanks for the tip. I too occasionally ave drum and would like the discreet no harm/no foul privacy.

I don't know about $60, mine was one of the free ones available via the TomTom HOME software.
