ya ok but how much and for how long will it leak out of that drain??????????????????????? thats the real question.

If your bike has ever been on it's side (dropped / crashed) the oil will leak up into the airbox. It could be dripping back out of the airbox drains.

im thinking it is coming out of air box drain
how long will it take to stop leaking
k guys just took a look ............not the oil cap its coming down left side of bike and driping on to my left faring right behind oil cap...then on to the ground....checked rubber lines they are all ok.
???? anyone
I may be way off base, but your oil cap is on the right side of the bike
If it's not the airbox drain, as previously thought, and it's not the drain plug, and it's not the external oil lines. The CCT is on the right side of the motor, so it's probbaly not that!
It could easily be the valve cover gasket.
k take a look at this pic....if you look close enough u can see the oil stain on the faring.
where is this coming from????????????????????????
sorry i ment drain not oil cap....
no cause i cleaned it.....coolent is not greasy like oil right?
so i just looked at my bike. the only things that will leak out would be the coolant, the impeller/coolent pump is right there.
If its oil, then the oil pan is leaking there...the oil pan does extend out until there.
why dont you have someone look at it? what area do you live around?
or take the flarings off and check to see where its leaking from...

Put clean paper towl under it after your next ride and tell us if it's brown or green. I am now beginning tot hink it's a water pump failing, or a water pump gasket leaking. Coukld even be a hose clamp biting intot he coolant hoses.
