They're trying to get with a network that will broadcast more globally for more exposure which will ultimately be good for the sport I hope. Although I do agree that a change like that is gonna suck for a while till we get used to new commentators. For now BBC will be covering all the MotoGP for 2009. Unfortunately, BBC I believe does not broadcast 125 or 250, so unless they increase their coverage to include those classes next year, that's gonna be something else we lose.
ah ok, BBC picked it up.
no real beef there, BBC programming tends to be pretty high quality, i'm sure i'll enjoy it. I'm just glad that CBS didn't pick it up (yes it would be good for the sport, but man did you see how they butchered the F1 broadcast?)
