    What Clutch?

Its time to replace the clutch in my bike but with so many options I don't know which to choose any opinions?

OEM parts are always your best option.

I've tried running Barrnett and other Aftermarket parts in my racebikes but they never performed as well as the OEM stuff.

Brakes and clutches, OEM is best

    Re: What Clutch?

I put a Barnett in an old Nighthawk 450 and had no problems with it. It was infinitely better than the 20yo clutch it replaced. I put 15K more km's on the bike before I sold it and never had a problem. Judging by the other comments on here though, it looks like in the newer/much higher powered bikes that's not the way to go.

i ran a barnett in my old superbike got 5 years out of it.
alltho the barnett spring were way to stiff after the 3 lap i could not pull the clutch anymore. then went to kit spring. and way better.

    Re: What Clutch?

i bought my bike with it. the pressure plates were all glazed up. As for the spring, it was stiffer, but the stocker is not that much more soft either.
