I somehow never saw this post - The Beemer made that trip fine, and an 1800 km round trip to southern Vermont the following weekend. She's a good girl, and gets lots of attention with the outrageous paint job.

Is there a chance of an East Side meeting point for those of us who are not early risers? To ride to Vaughan from the Beach only to turn around and head east again don't make no sense to me.

    Post if interested.
Do you have a northern pick-up point? Maybe 400 & 9? What route you taking? We may want to bug out on the north side of Algonquin and head down to Kingston to a friends for Sat night then back to TO Sunday.

We'll make sure Speedfreak and Lizardintoronto stop at every gas station
I may be in for this too, if I don't work too late Fri eve...
A meet up spot in the east would be great, I'm also coming from Bowmanville area (Newcastle).

I might be able to make this ride, but I'll be up north. Can I meet you guys somewhere up there?

    Hey guys!

not to be a buzzkill but I was just up there this weekend and the colours are definitely peaking as we speak... if they aren't as spectacular as you'd like when you go, or there is a substantial wind between now and you're ride... that's why.

HOPING that you can see them in their full glory. Just watch out for bus loads of Japanese people armed with cameras

Glad you will be joining us, being on rides with you before I can say will be slow for you. I just got both tires replaced today and will be breaking them in on this ride. Was not planning on new tires but had about 5 pieces of metal go through my rear tire.
Sucks but thanks to Riders choice had them replaced today.

Re: Oct 4 - Algonquin Park

    so whats the plan? routes?

ive just passed my RTI course (perfect score of course...lol)
but I dont want to test my m1 on the restricted highways anymore, or the darkness factor...i can get my m2 october 20 exactly...

im in if the roads arent restricted.

Squid pro, ya lol, i bought an 08 and am loving it. The 0-60 is noticeable faster, the sound is ****ing awesome at above 9000 rpm and the ride is about 1000% more UNcomfortable, however im down for a long ride b4 the season ends...
    \

edit: i need to read before i post....so i see the route and am probably not in, as the 400 is not my friend yet...

edit2: im an east ender and would be interested in doing a split pack and meeting up with the rest...again providing there is no major 400 series runs, i dont care so much, but figure i should try to stay off them for long periods...

but its our job to end this and ride motorcycles like men...today's society is soft as hell. but riding a 600cc is the least you can do...

That having been said, is there a place we can intersect with you straight north of mid Scarb? Seems this would help out several of us.

Looks Good, I should be in.

I'm not sure my little SV can keep up with all these Busa's and R1's though ?

Perhaps there could be a secondary meet spot up North somewhere.
