update from 10:30PM on Saturday.

UPDATE:
As some of you may already know Sciloh was involved in a single vehicle accident yesterday while attending this ride. He is currently at Sunnybrook Hospital in ICU. Yesterday he took a bend too quickly, hit gravel, lost control and hit the guardrail. He's stable but not out of ICU yet, won't be for at least a week. He has a head injury, not sure if or any brain damage. However he recognizes people and understands commands. There is severe nerve damage to his right arm, at this point it may be so bad that there may not be full or any function to the arm. He severed an artery near his right shoulder, it is repaired however being monitored for clotting. He also fractured his upper back, but does not seem too bad as he can move all of his limbs except his right arm (due to the nerve damage). His lung was also badly damaged on the right side... he lost a lot of blood and is constantly undergoing transfusion, but his heim count is going up so the transfusions are slower.

He will accept visitors, but not right now. I do ask if you do want to see him I will update you when you can start seeing him, I just don't want to stress him out too much. B/c of his fractured spine we want to limit the amount of visitations and stimulous (don't want him to wake up and get confused and try to move too much).

The only thing that I do ask for is to support him in spirit. If you do support the blood banks, then I do thank you in advance b/c without your donations he may have done so well in surgery.

Toronto man hurt in Caledon motorcycle crash

A man is in hospital after his motorcycle collided on Chinguacousy Road, south of Boston Mills Road in Caledon.
The man was riding among a group of approximately eight motorcycles when he lost control and hit a guardrail. The injured, a 31-year-old male from Toronto, was taken by ambulance to Brampton Civic Hospital with serious injuries.
Chinguacousy Road will be closed for several hours between Boston Mills Road and King Street.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators were called to the scene.
Anyone that might have been witness to this accident is asked to call Acting Sergeant J. Beckett at Caledon OPP 905-584-2241.
