Good shots man, I really like the mountain bikers one.

Don't be afraid to slow it all down to get a nice pan. 1/30th, elbows in, rotate at the waist and make sure you are standing far away or everything will distort.

Yea, when i picked up my friend last night to go to the EX, even though she KNEW we were taking the bike she put on a dress and flipflops...i was like "are u kidding me?! go change!"

and as much as it sucked to lug my leather jacket with me at the EX, i'm not riding without it....

speaking of pictures...yea i wanna go and take some nice ones...

oh anyone notice how many 2up bikes go there...thats a lot of them actually!

I think I just missed out on being in these pics. Me and a friend were going through there yesterday and as we were heading back out to Hurontario (passing the cop who was sat at the end waiting to give out tickets) we passed the guy with the side cart coming in. I was tempted to turn around and do the loop again as I wanted to see how he threw that thing around in the corners (had wild visions of him leaned right over and the side cart in the air......LOL)

As for the 2 up riding we saw some wild stuff there yesterday. We had some guy riding 2 up in front of us, well he started infront of us but we lost him as he was tearing through the corners, he was wearing full gear, she was sporting the ultra protective shortsleeves and jeans.

Thanks everyone. And to confirm the Blue VFR did put his foot down

The bike cop was just cruising, I doubt he was patrolling.

If weather permits, will probably be heading to Hockley Vally, or just a different corner on the forks.

I think what happens on those hairpins, is people forget to over exaggerate looking into the turn. And screw up their lines. it can get pretty dangerous.

Heh, at least her oversized purse matches the pink in her helmet! Stylish indeed.

wouldn't want to be on my bike going in the opposite direction when a car drifts over the centre-line like this .. yikes!

Negative... he was in fact patrolling... I saw him pull someone over down by the river.

Nas - what happened with the last bunch of shots you took? Were you playing around with post-processing or with camera settings? Just curious. Looks like you were getting the hang of it alright. Quite a nice spot to do something like that, actually. I'll have to give that a go myself. Thanks for the idea.

I don't know if it's just me or what, but I see quite a number of pics where it doesn't appear like people are looking far enough ahead through that corner. Maybe it's an optical illusion, dunno.

all post processing, for the aged look it was a good corner to practice on, next time it will be long sweepers or faster corners.

But one thing that surprised me is I didn't see a signle rider lean off the seat. And you are right not many were looking through the turn, some got it pretty good, but majority were choppy. but i am not there to judge anyone just snapping pictures

Ahhh, okay. In that case - good job! Looks very nice!

Agreed, we're not all perfect and no reason to judge. No reason to drag a knee through there.

I was once there not too long ago and some ****** in a pick-up truck took both lanes while I was negotiating the curve.

The guy on the red Integra should have both his hands on the wheel.

    Pics like these enrages me.

^ i wonder if photos like these but with license plate clearly showing would be useful for reporting. probably not....but it would be such sweet revenge.
