    Unified superbike rules

There's been some talk of having a unified superbike rule, meaning BSB and AMA would share the same sbk rules as wsbk... any thoughts?

All for it but Edmonston is too much of an idiot for it to ever happen.

    Re: Unified superbike rules

Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda asked for WSBK rules.

DMG announced WSBK rules for Factory Superbike class.

Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda ask for 2009 rules.

DMG asks them to make up their minds.

They can't because they only want to disrupt the process.

DMG has made mistakes but lately it's become crystal clear who the bad guys are.

I don't know what to make of the AMA situation. DMG started out on the wrong foot, but now it seems impossible to recover.

    Superbike rules *should* be harmonized.

A race organizing body needs to say "This is how it's gonna be" ... BUT ... the way they say it's gonna be, needs to be right.

    Re: Unified superbike rules

2010 WSBK rules will be closer to superstock in order to slow the bikes down. DMG offered WSBK rules to the manufacturers knowing this.
Anybody who says that 180+ superstock bikes are somehow slow because they don't have 16.5" wheels, kit swingarms, $30,000 forks or traction is lying or clueless. Our series has shown over the last few years that a superstock level bike on slicks creates great racing, some folks down south have been paying attention.
