Flowerpot island is in the middle of a lake. Your looking for a route to Tobermory so you can get to FlowerPot?
I would take hwy 10 to shelbourne and continue on hwy 10 till 6. Then 6 is the only road up to Tobermory.
Im heading up there tonight myself!!!

Try this (know it is horrible link) my cottage is in Dyers Bay. The detour from Wiarton to just past Lions Head is actually nice, and well worth it to avoid the mindless straight lines on 6
