507/Elephant ride Sunday Aug 31

Looking for a few sport bike riders to join me and a friend for a nice long Sunday ride... lots of twist and turns on smooth country roads. Riding at your own comfort level. Stop half way for lunch at Gooderham. Meeting time is 645am leaving at 715am @ Esso gas station on Woodbine and Steeles. We'll meet you there if you are interested for an awesome ride. Expected round trip time is 9hrs.

Also i was thinking of heading out for a ride Saturday (Aug 30) up to Owen Sound Bay around the lake shore down to Sauble Beach then back on Airport road. This trip will likely be around 9hrs.

how about 507 construction? Is't heard it's gravel and mud at the moment...

Only in 1 big spot at the top now ... plus theres signs letting you know whats coming up.
You will be washing your bike after going thru it, esp after it has rained.

1 general spot... 3 gravel patches... plenty of warning.

I just passed 507 yesterday afternoon, there is about a 2km patch of gravel, but it has a 1km construction notice then the gravel sign, you'd be an idiot if you missed it, they even block traffic and escort you in a Ford pickup, what more can thou asketh for?

I'm up in Ottawa with a friend, we could join you guys on the way back. Are you guys going to make it to Calabogie? 508? Some sweeeet roads there!

507 is only a small part of the trip...we'll have to bypass it then on the way back.

Calabogie? 508? looks like an awesome route, just a little far for this trip.
