Decent route to 507 and back?

Can anyone recommend their route of preference from say... Markham to the 507 and back home?

I would just 11 it up to Algonquin, go across on 60, down on 62 and from there you have lots of options to get down to the 503, which will get you to the 507.

Head up to Port Perry, along 7A to 57 North, Then North on 35 toward Lindsay, East on HWY 7 to 36 and head over to Bobcageon stay on 36 to the 507 and up to Gooderham and all the good roads.

I would do that as a return route after starting off on a more scenic run through the park.

If you like looking at lots of trees and hikers Alogonquin Park is fine. If you are into twisties and pushing the speed limit, you can find better places. If you've never ridden through the Park go ahead. You may find like me that once is enough.
