507 itself is not worthy of a day trip, but it makes a great after work ride!
Ride to Flynns, up 507, do a U turn, down 507, Fuel in Bobcaygeon, quick donut and coffee, ride back.
Good ashphalt , lots of twisties up and back, and minimal traffic. This ride will leave Bowmanville Tim's at 6pm this Wednesday(woulda preferred Tuesday, but its not gonna work this week.) and be back in Bowmanville at 930pm. I did it last week at this time and it can be done in 3 1/2 hours no sweat.
Pace will be quick but not retarded. Full gear please(minimum textile jacket and boots)
Please fill your bike in Bowmanville as, in the interest of saving daylight, there will be no fuel until after 507 up and back.

We will all be careful. By the way, I should have been more clear in the initial post. When I say "quick", I am not so much referring the the ride speed, as much as a good route, and lack of B/S stops and breaks. In no way do I want promote irresponsible riding.
Remember: Full tanks in Bowmanville please! Not with 70k from the ride here.
Recidivist, I texted you so I hope you know I couldn't make it. I got caught up at work so I'm only headed out of the office now.
Let me know how the ride goes, hopefully I'll be able to join in for next week.
