I think I'm in, it all depends on my basment reno's this week. It sounds like a good ride for a first group ride. Is that accurate?

Yes this should suit you perfectly.

You should confirm your answer cause some people might not show up if they dont bite.

Including stops I would guess at least 4 hrs. Back roads, Brampton to Wasaga is going to be probably 90mins to 2 hrs. Given that it's a newb ride I would guess that there will be extra stops.

Camping with High Speed,,,,,,,,,,, Gotta love laptops and people who don't secure their wireless routers ..... I don't know how reliable it will be this week though.

It will take a lot longer than riding with SOME of you,,,(EnglishJ, KalmKaos Cough,Cough)

I was planning some nice back roads, No River Road or any of the really tight stuff that tends to get gravel on it.. Just easy sweeping beginner roads

Right now my initial thoughts are Mississauga Rd up to Belfountain, Across the Forks, Back way into Ogangeville. Depending on Time, Across Hockley, back to 10 on Mono Centre.. West of a "Secret Rd",,, No TS,, Not "Your" secret rd. Up through the Shelburne Wind Farm... It's pretty cool if you've never seen it.... Across the 17th SR back to Airport,, Through Creemore then up Fairgrounds Rd.. I'm undecided from there... I think Beaver Valley and the 13SR by Katrine might be too far over.. I'll route it out through google map to see the mileage..

Hopefully this wireless connection stays active....

    Modest ones too!

I'm coming with a new rider - that has to count for something doesn't it?

    Tarah
*Tear* I was mentioned. I am so touched. I will come out for this but I call being the token hooligan who moons you all and makes provocative gestures with the bike. I think I may publish the very first Kama Sutra for motorcycle riders.

On a PG note. I will be there so long as nothing comes up (or blows up)

Ok, I think I will join in on this one. Sounds like it will be good. So I'm not sure here, but are full leathers in order, with all the non noobs?

No, Full leathers aren't needed but if you have them, nothing is going to protect you better. Even with the non noobs the pace will be slow. Heck Banger and TS and ? Will be riding in Bikinis...... Saves time at the beach..... If EnglishJ shows in a Bikini your on your own,, I'll be outta there

THIS WELL NOT BE A HOOLIGAN RIDE~~

So please, don't get scared off if you are new....John is organizing a ride so that new riders feel comforable enough to come out and join a group ride and meet other riders.

Its just going to be a easy day~~if anyone wants to do a fast crazy ride I suggest you not join us...if anyone has a attitude, I suggest you also not tag along

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroowllll - what she said!

TS has it right, beginner ride with some girls tagging along. Girls can't ride that fast - bothers our uteruses (sp?) or something like that.

I just want to ride, and introduce group riding to a new guy. However he seems to want to golf (i know, i know) instead of picking up his bike so I may be solo.

R1Girl is the coolest for the record - my mom told me so. Banger may be a hooligan but we'll control her - no worries!

See ya Saturday, you'll hear me first!
