A Peterborough man is dead after an ATV collision on Saturday night, Central Hastings OPP say.

Police say two men were riding on a four-wheeler on Beaver Creek Road in Marmora when they hit a rock cut. Although both men were wearing helmets, the driver of the ATV, Owen Vanslyke, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene from head injuries. Police say the passenger, 36, was thrown from the four-wheeler and was transfered to Cambellford Hospital with internal injuries.
