Another new guelph rider

Hello all;
Nice site with some great conversations. I especially like the insurance thread. What a great resource to have participating in your forum. I’m sure I’ll have some questions when I get to that stage.
A family member has a 92 gsxr750r that’s been sitting for a couple of years and now he wants to get rid of it. I can pick it up cheap and I’m pretty handy so I can put in the new fuel line and install a new battery to get it going.
I was toying with the idea of getting my license and driving it around and maybe commute with it this summer while I try to sell it for him, but I just read the sticky thread here and that’s making me re-think that idea.
So, I’ll lurk around here for a while and maybe ask some questions.
