    Pretty River Road

Stubby and i headed up to visit her brother at his apple farm outside of Thornbury today.Looking for a bit of a different route we took the Wing a bit east and followed Regional Rd 33 (Pretty River Rd) for 8km.Awesome little ride!I've done that road a few times before, but not in the last few years.A bit of sand and gravel in some of the turns (esp at the south west end) but not too bad. After checking out some of the Elvis action in Collingwood (Elvis festival all weekend) we carried on to the farm and then took the Beaver Valley route back south.

Hey... A little taste of home. I grew up in the valley and still ride up to see my parents every once in a while.

If you could get rid of the sand and some blind corners it could be a lot of fun, especially the section near the top of the valley. Too many locals drive too fast down that road though! And too many deer!
