really with people like you no wonder cops are out of control.
i saw a on board cop car camera were a 72 year old woman got tazered for refusing to sigh for the ticket..
i dont want to say what i would do if that was my grand mother (cause i will get baned from this site).but it would be as painful as what she went tru
If that's the one I think he's talking about, she was tased because she got out of her vehicle on the side of a busy high speed highway and was posing a safety risk both to herself and the cop. The choices would have been between zapping her or manhandling a fragile old lady, so that wouldn't have been a bad application of the taser i.m.o.
There were several other examples in this thread that were more appropriate when it comes to proving the point.

Like many active sports, shooting has the potential to cause personal injury.

Look it up on youtube.. I have no problems with speaking out against the cops when it's warranted, but in this case the zapping looked justified.

remember 3 things
1 the public knows were you work
2 2 weeks after you mess with someone you forget all about them.
3 the victims you mess with (or their familys) will never forget what you look like.
and with youtube, cell phone cameras, the news and the net.its getting harder to convince the public theirs no such thing as a bad cop...

I have to assume from that display of adulthood that you somehow think I am a cop. Your ignorance is showing, again. It does nothing to your credibility. Were you not on here years ago under a different name? The tone of you post reminds me of a moron that used to post that hatred crap a few years ago.
To repeat, I am not, nor never was a cop. Try again.

24 seconds... sad.

The scary part is that while they're saying that they're restricting taser use, they're actually loosening up the pre-existing restrictions
http://www.thestar.com/article/623523Under the old policy, RCMP officers were required to issue a warning, where feasible: "Police, stop or you will be hit with 50,000 volts of electricity." There's no such obligation under the new policy.
Under the old policy use was sharply limited. "Unless situational factors dictate otherwise, do not cycle the CEW (Conducted Energy Weapon) repeatedly, nor more than 15-20 seconds at a time against a subject." That, too, has been scrapped. The new policy merely advises that multiple or continuous stunning "may be hazardous to a subject."
Finally while the new policy says the guns are "not intended as a restraint device," there's no prohibition on using them to subdue unruly suspects who don't pose a serious threat to the police or public.

Well they have that covered, it's all part of the plan:
Change the restrictions so now the Dudley Do-Rights aren't breaking them, a classic Canuckistan solution! In a written response, RCMP commissioner William Elliott said that the RCMP have already taken "concrete action in relation to the death of Mr. Dziekanski and the events leading up to and following that terrible event."
Well that and making cell phone confiscation (and embarrassing photo/video deletion) part of crime scene SOP.
