Maybe you are onto something for the Cruiser /Goldwing market.(heavey bikes) Make them retractable so that they deploy when you come to a stop at traffic lights etc.

Ive been on goldwings, and that would be brilliant!

On superbikes last week there was a guy that had something like that. he lost his legs in an accident and when he rides now he has two poles that come down with the push of a button for when he has to stop.

Lol, ever compare the specs of a Goldwing to a Miata. Heh weight, power, all practically the same....except the 'Wing has a bigger trunk
