routes between buffalo and finger lakes

I'm planning a long day trip for my gf and I from Toronto to the NY finger lakes. Does anyone have suggestions for nice and fun roads between Buffalo and Canandaigua?

I always go southeast from Barffalo to Letchworth Stae park and then head east to Watkins Glen.

Be sure to take in the scenery thru the park,and take your time.Park rangers and State police are everywhere.If you go to Watkins Glen,do the hike thru the gorge. http://nysparks.state.ny.us/parks/info.asp?parkID=105

I have a buddy in Rochester, so when i go there i take the lewiston bridge and head east on the 104. Very nice road. Only 3 or 4 lights between Lewiston and Rochester, and 55 almost the whole way. Beats the crap out of the friggen interstate.

After that, i'm not sure what is interesting. If you are going to stop for food in Rochester, go to The Dinosaur. People park their bikes on the property so you can sit by your bike, and the wings are legendary. But then leave. Nothing to see in Crotchfester.

Cananduega is amazing. Very cool place and LOTS of swingers!!!!!
