    Lightbulb zx-14 vrs Busa

Just want to see if any interest is here. There are some Busa owners and Zx-14 owners on the board and it would be fun to have a track day together. Perhaps run a few 1/4 miles so we can come back and post our times. If interested just respond and we can arrange to attempt to work out the details.

When you respond be honest with the mods done to your bike so we can match up as closely as possible.

    I can be number one:

    2007 zx-14

Only basic mods (currently on order)
    1) Muzzy Slip on
    2) PC III
    3) Improved air flow

    Anybody else interested???

2007 with only slip-ons and throttle lock. Quite the opposite from the tether/kill switch I was told I'll need next time.
I'll go anytime late July until late Sept. Can't go anytime soon, I'll be away for a month, ripping up the East Coast!
10.187 was my best ever and 10.3 seems to be where I am consistent.
These bikes are hard as hell to launch, but I'm working on it.
The best "mod' I've got is my diet which keeps me at 140lbs max!

If you average a 10.3 you must be doing something right.

I know it throws a huge wrench into the numbers and basis of comparison (for standing start times) but if you guys want to save your clutch and rear tire, then rolling 10 to 20 kph starts is an idea. Can get an amazing launches that way.
No cheating though when looking down at the speedo guys, it's the honour system (unless you have an extra r gun there to keep everyone honest?)

He weighs 140lbs, anyone over 160 would need to replace every nut and bolt with titanium, install carbon fibre wheels etc just to compensate for the weight advantage, he is like a jockey lol

How the busa got its name, while driving through northern Ontario, some wood folk shouted Hey, a bus eh?

Yeah, don't worry, I keep my day job.
